Ireneg: Quiz — Meeting in a pub!!... not sure about that!!! no, only joking - anyone is welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverage to St Mick's quiz too (within reason!) And I am happy to publicise the music night in our parish magazine - any more details than that it is at the Staff? I'm not sure that I will be there, but who knows? St Michael's quiz is on 27th begining at 7pm with a pie and peas supper…

Richard-Smithers: Quiz — Hi IreneI don't think we have arranged a date yet for the next quiz, but I think everyone had a lot of fun that attended the last one! I will let people know about the 27th at our next meeting which I think is next Tuesday (Staff of Life) It would be lovely to see you at the next musical event if you can attend. It is scheduled for the 24th January, and again will most likely be at the Staff of…

Ireneg: Quiz — reading around the site I see a quiz is planned, but no mention of a time or venue yet. We are holding a quiz in St Michael's social centre on Tuesday 27th Jan. It is usually quite chaotic, due to several competitors being a little hard of hearing and needing the questions reading out again, quite often hilarious when the answers are dicussed in a very theatrical whisper. not sure about admission…

Craig46A: Cornholme/Portsmouth Railway Station — Hi Managed to take the time out to join the forum! A rail link including a station at portsmouth / cornholme would be a big plus for the area. Car traffic is increasing and the journey time from the area to major conurbations such as Manchester, Leeds and Bradford would make the use of rail to reach these destinations a realistic option. Closure of the station was well before the explosion of car…

Annalou: picnic area — I think its a great idea ... lets identify a site...we'd need to get a litter bin sorted which could be emptied on a regular basis .. otherwise it would turn into a tip!

Shootafox: Youth kickabout area - Portsmouth Rec — jackie its still going on they keep measuring ect there was a group formed for it that met monthly in school thing they had to sell so many houses before skipton would release any money
